Market Days

These are very colourful events and are a focus of village social life where villagers meet and exchange gossip as well as stocking up with traditional and regional specialties. They vary in size and in the range of goods on offer. Montaigu de Quercy is on Saturday mornings, is medium sized and is mostly over by mid day. Montcuq is on Sunday mornings and is quite large. Valence d’Agen is on Tuesdays and is very large whilst Lauzerte is very small and is on Saturday. Roquecor’s own market day is Sunday and is also quite small but worth a visit nevertheless.
